Sara Bauermeister

Sara Bauermeister is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management with a specialization in Emergency Management at Colorado State University Global. After earning her Associates of Applied Science, Sara began working as a flight instructor to gain hours and one day become an airline pilot.

She has a passion for exposing young women to STEM and is an active participant in projects such as Preflight Camp, Women In Aviation, and the Aims Mobile Aviation Lab project. Always eager to uplift those around her, Sara engages in volunteer work, networking, and community outreach. Notable contributions include establishing a work-study program to provide students with valuable experience and financial support for their education. Additionally, she successfully secured funding for her peers to attend international conferences, enhancing their professional development.

Sara aspires to spearhead innovative projects within the aviation industry, leveraging her business degree and flying skills. This past summer, she traveled to Tanzania to visit friends at Rolina, a children’s home. A goal of hers is to create opportunities for these children to explore and pursue careers in aviation. During her leisure time, Sara enjoys running, reading, and flying!
