Madisyn Bietz is a senior honors student at Colorado State University pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
Madisyn Bietz is a senior honors student at Colorado State University pursuing a degree in civil engineering. At CSU, Madisyn serves as Vice President and previously as Conference Chair of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter. She was the lead student organizer for the 2025 ASCE Rocky Mountain Student Symposium, during which CSU hosted 300 attendees and 10 engineering competitions.
Madisyn has professional experience with the Department of Transportation, in site development, and in research examining the relationship between natural disasters and the human footprint. Passionate about sustainable development and infrastructure, she has a particular interest in how transportation-related fields can shape communities and support their needs.
Following graduation, Madisyn plans to work full-time at Sunny Civil as an assistant engineer in site development. Outside of engineering, she enjoys traveling, backpacking, skiing, and playing soccer.
