Michelle Hoysick is the National Business Development Lead for the Alternative Delivery Practice at Michael Baker International and has been in this role since 2019. Michelle is a registered professional engineer in the state of Colorado with experience in project management, program management, construction management, civil engineering, inspection, and maintenance services for large capital improvement programs. She is experienced in multi-discipline projects using Public Private Partnership (P3), Design-Build (DB), Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Construction Manager General Contractor (CMGC) and Design Bid-Build (DBB) project delivery methods. With experience in engineering and construction projects valued over $6 Billion, Michelle is knowledgeable in several industry sectors including rail, transit, highway, bridges, and commercial infrastructure.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Colorado-Denver.
Michelle Hoysick has been awarded the WTS Colorado Member of the Year Award for 2020. Michelle has been an active member of WTS since 2014 and served in many leadership roles within the Colorado Chapter including Membership & Recognitions Chair, Director-At-Large, Secretary and Vice President. She has previously been recognized as the ACEC Young Professional of the Year in 2013, APTA Early Career Professional in 2016 and the WTS Colorado Emerging Leader in 2016.
