Heather Paddock is the Region 4 Transportation Director for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). She leads 500+ employees and oversees all Interstates and State Highways in the Northeast quadrant of the state. This includes the maintenance of these highways such as mowing and snow removal, to identifying regional needs through planning, design and construction of new projects that support the multi-modal transportation demand, growth and safety needs in northern Colorado.
Heather was initially hired by CDOT to run the $750M Flood Recovery program, post the 2013 flood event that spread across the northeast quadrant of the State. Prior to her tenure at CDOT she worked in the private sector in Colorado Springs for 15 years as a transportation engineer and project manager.
In addition to being passionate about her profession and committed to statewide transportation, Heather enjoys traveling; boating, being active outdoors, and watching her children play sports. She is a Colorado native and currently resides in Ft. Collins with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
