Thalia Garman is a student at Red Rocks Community College currently gaining her Associate Degree in Engineering Science.

Thalia Garman is an engineering student at Red Rocks Community College. She is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in engineering science. She is a part of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and works as a math tutor. Thalia plans to transfer to Colorado School of Mines in the Fall of 2026 to continue a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in power and energy. Outside of school, Thalia serves as an ambassador to the nonprofit Transportation and Construction GIRL. Thalia is also a NASA Community College Aerospace Scholar alumnus.

During the last few years, Thalia has had three internships and has accepted a fourth for the Summer of 2026. During her first internship at IX Power Clean Water, Thalia worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, contributing published writing on industrial wastewater and electrodialysis crystallization. In her second internship with Encore Electric, she served as an Apprentice Intern, prefabricating electrical components. Most recently, Thalia worked as a Transportation Technician Intern with IronStride Solutions, where she worked with network logic diagrams for fiber-optic systems. This summer, she looks forward to working as a Project Management Intern with Intermountain Electric and traveling to Texas to visit the head company, Quanta.
