Angie Rivera-Malpiede is vice president of the Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities and executive director of Northeast Transportation Connections (NETC). Angie served for many years as a director for Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD). She oversaw the opening of the new Denver Union Station and the expansion of the FasTracks program, including the construction of the University of Colorado A Line to Denver International Airport. She was elected second vice chair of the RTD executive committee and chair of the board of directors. Angie is a lifelong community advocate who recognizes the power of transportation to connect and advance people.
